My best friend texted me a little while ago and told me that she’d been searching for a word for 2021. As she shared her word with me for this year, I began thinking about my own word. After a very brief contemplation, it hit me!
CHOOSE.
Everything that we could possibly want in life…
Every desire. Every dream. Everything we deserve.
It’s all on the other side of choice.
I will let this word lead me not only throughout this year, but in whatever life I have left. If this past year proved anything to me, it was that life is even shorter than we thought. Time wasted is time lost.
I CHOOSE ME.

Wait. While I initially thought my one word would be “rest” I realized much later it’s actually “WAIT.” So there you go … 😉.
